about

Recorded with a view of the historic Horseshoe Cafe in downtown Bellingham, Washington, 2007-8.
A bloodstained collection of songs written and performed by a homeless guy. (The best kind of honesty is the brutal kind.)
Hmmm, what else to say? It was recorded on Pro Tools (not sure which version) with some very nice microphones and a very nice tube preamp. A couple of different Fender Telecasters were employed (it is my Soul Guitar, after all). There is some digital computer fuckery, though probably a lot less than you think, if you're inclined to think about such things at all; anything super weird-sounding on this EP was done outside-the-box with electronic trash and gadgets, not that it matters.

Okay, you should probably just listen to the music now.

Vita Harvey Seattle, Washington

Singer, songwriter, producer, sound designer, Vita makes Americana music that reflects America as it is:

[[gleaming rust & ancient dust]]

{ a truly messed-up place }

/* strange: Home */

They use shitty digital synthesizers, nice analog synthesizers, found sounds/samples/tape loops, cheap guitars, and drum machines to make music by turns dreamy, catchy, and abrasive.
